Weekly Meditation Instruction

This is a brief instruction session for those who wish to learn meditation for the first time or those looking for a refresher. A 25-minute meditation session follows starting at 6:30 p.m.

This is a secular group meditation instruction session via Zoom for all faiths and philosophies. The instruction covers the different types of sitting positions, posture, where to place your hands and how to breathe properly. We cover what typically happens when you bring attention to the breath and provide guidance on how to handle things like sleepiness or hyperactivity. We can also provide guidance on where to buy the right meditation cushions if needed.

The instruction is followed by approximately 25 minutes of group meditation, followed by an optional group discussion. Anyone interested in joining should email us for the private Zoom link that allows you into the meditation session.

The session is led either by Lama Yeshe or by one of his designated teachers.
