This is either an in-person meditation session at the Hay River KTC or on Zoom. The session begins with a brief instruction for those who wish to learn meditation for the first time or those looking for a refresher. A 40-minute meditation session follows.
The instruction covers the different types of sitting positions, posture, where to place your hands and how to breathe properly. We cover what typically happens when you bring attention to the breath and provide guidance on how to handle things like sleepiness or hyperactivity. We can also provide guidance on where to buy the right meditation cushions if needed.
